The Great Episcopal Jailbreak of 168 AD!

Orchestrated by Archbishop Fasteune of Ostia, the utter insouciance of the escape stunned the guards of the Roman Colosseum. Out of 25 bishops who escaped, 23 successfully returned to their dioceses to get martyred later on - a very satisfactory result. The other two were martyred after recapture - satisfactory, but not as much so.
